More 48 cases of dengue reported in federal capital during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Dengue has become uncontrollable in the federal capital. More 48 people were diagnosed with dengue.

The District Health Officer said that 48 more cases were reported in one day. 23 cases have been reported in rural areas while 25 cases have been reported from urban areas. 21 patients have been brought to PIMS Hospital, three to Federal General Hospital and 18 to private laboratories.

DHO further said that the number of victims of dengue has increased to 4,838. There have been 2,806 cases in rural areas and 2,032 cases in urban population. The number of people who died due to dengue is 9. Medical experts say that the cases may increase further.
