More than 150 held in search operations in Punjab

LAHORE/FAISALABAD (92 News) – Police and intelligence agencies have on Tuesday apprehended more than 150 suspects during joint search operations conducted in Punjab’s different cities including Lahore, Faisalabad and Sialkot. As per details, police carried out search operation in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat area on the orders of Deputy Inspector General of Operations Punjab and detained 10 people for not having complete rental documents and registered a case under Tenancy Act. On the other hand, 15 people were arrested during search operations in Faisalabad’s different areas, while 28 suspects were nabbed during raids in Jaranwala and Khurianwala. Meanwhile, at least 100 suspects including 22 illegal Afghan nationals were held during a search operation conducted by the Sialkot’s City Circle police and shifted them to unknown place for further interrogation.
