More than 500 Afghan refugees return home

QUETTA (92 News) – More than 500 Afghan refugees of 70 families have voluntarily returned to their home country from different area of Balochistan on Thursday. The Afghan refugees living in Loralai and Qila Saifullah have voluntarily left for Afghanistan’s Heart. The refugees were provided US$200 each and other things before departure after completing documental work. The refugees said that they will now start a new life in their home country after spending 40 years in Pakistan. According to UNHCR, more than 600,000 Afghan refugees have been repatriated since 2002, adding that Pakistan government has directed complete the repatriation process this year, while they were trying extend the deadline.
