Mother commits suicide after killing children due to poverty in Pakpattan

PAKPATTAN (92 News) – A mother of three-children committed suicide after killing her children due to poverty in Punjab’s Pakpattan district on Monday. According to the details garnered, the incident reported at Pakpattan’s village Sadupili where a mother committed suicide due to poverty and strangled her three children. The woman identified as Shaheen Bibi committed suicide due to poverty and domestic dispute. She strangled her three children before committing suicide. One child four-year old Fahad died on the spot and two others were in critical condition in a local hospital. “Fahad, 4, is dead while two others were rescued but they are in critical condition,” said the rescue worker. Both injured were shifted to nearby hospital. The body of mother and children were shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
