Mother and daughter killed in Lahore house fire

LAHORE (92 News) – A woman and her daughter were killed while man and his two daughters received burns when fire broke out in their house in Kot Lakhpat’s Bank Stop area of the provincial capital on Friday. As per details, the ill-fated incident occurred in Kot Lakhpat’s Bank Stop area when the couple torched the house after having arguments over the second marriage. The fire engulfed the entire building quickly, killing the woman namely Saima and her three-year-old daughter Emaan, while her husband Mazhar and their two daughters Minahil, 5, and Kainaat,8, received burns. After being informed, police and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the flames under control. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medical assistance.
