Mother, son arrested in housemaid Saima torture case in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Another incident of a housemaid tortured has surfaced as 11-year-old Saima was bitterly beaten in Islamabad’s Sector E-11 Police Foundation.

 

The Golra Police arrested house owner Muhammad Ahmad and his mother Almas and started investigation after registering a case against them and released them later. 

 

The girl in her initial statement said that she had not been allowed to go home for past four years. She said that the knives after heating were stamped on her body and was also beaten with a belt. Besides, a servant of the house also tortured her and her hairs were also shaved.

 

The girl belonging to Rahimyar Khan managed to escape and took shelter at a neighbor’s house.

 

The police reached the scene and took the girl in custody.

 

Earlier in January, housemaid Tayyaba was tortured by the wife of a former judge in Islamabad for misplacing a broom.
