Motorway closed at several points as dense fog engulfs Punjab areas

LAHORE (92 News) – Dense fog engulfed several areas of Punjab, including Lahore, on Monday.

The authorities closed Motorway (M-3) from Lahore and Abdul Hakeem, M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad, M-5 from Multan to Rohari due to fog.

The minimum visibility was reported in Faisalabad, Multan, Basti Malook, Lodhran and Bahawalpur. A Sialkot-bound flight from Karachi was diverted to Lahore due to dense fog.

In Multan, a child was killed and six others injured in an accident due to fog on Vehari Road. The injured have been shifted to Nishtar Hospital.
