Motorway sections closed as dense fog continues to blanket Punjab cities

LAHORE (92 News) – Motorway was closed at different sections due to dense fog has blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Wednesday and Thursday.

According to the reports, the dense fog badly disrupted the road traffic and paralysed routine life.

The visibility has dropped to zero on main roads in plain areas across the province due to which Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, Lahore-Pindi Bhattial Motorway M2 and Lahore-Samundri Motorway M3 have been closed for all kind of traffic.

The Motorway police have asked citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and maintain reasonable distance among vehicles. The police have also advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed as the visibility was dropped to zero due to dense fog.
