MQM announces to challenge local bodies elections

KARACHI (92 News) - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to challenge the local bodies polls.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, MQM leader Mustafa Kamal said  that ballot papers were stamped publicly on roads. "By not contesting the elections, the MQM got the people of Karachi successful," he maintained.

He said that 53 union councils would have not increased had they contested the elections.

On the other hand, Karachi JI ameer Hafiz Naeem said that the PPP had not won the majority in the local bodies elections. "Who is Bilawal Bhutto to give or not to give the powers?" he questioned.
