MQM Coordination Committee demands immediate release of Qamar Mansoor

KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement has demanded immediate release of Central Coordination Committee Member Qamar Mansoor on Saturday. In statement issued on Saturday, the committee said that MQM has been targeted accusing it of hate speeches. The committee said that Moulana Abdul Aziz of Lal Mosque publicly issued decrees against the army and the Constitution of Pakistan and incited suicide attacks. The committee said that Moulana Abdul Aziz had not been arrested when he termed the attack on Army Public School Peshawar lawful. Coordination committee said that Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali should file a lawsuit against its party’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif. “Abid Sher Ali wanted to raise stature through negative statements against MQM chief Altaf Hussain, the statement said.” The committee said that the people of Pakistan are well aware how much Pakistan Muslim Leaguers’ love armed forces. “Defence minister Khawaja Asif had accused two former officials of army for plotting to topple the PML-N government.” The committee said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain is not being investigated in by the National Accountability Bureau nor he had written off any loans.
