MQM ex-leader Saleem Shahzad acquitted in arson attack case

KARACHI (92 News) – A local court acquitted MQM former leader Saleem Shahzad in the arson attack and rioting case on Saturday. The Malir police had registered a case against Saleem Shahzad, while another case was registered against him in Landhi in 1991. He faced several charges, including rioting and arson. He was acquitted as the prosecution failed to prove the allegations against him. He has been acquitted in two of total four cases.
