KARACHI (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has hinted at staging the protest against the new Sindh Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2021.

It has also called an all parties conference (APC) in this regard. It has also questioned the appointment of the Karachi administrator.

Meanwhile, the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has challenged the Sindh Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2021.

Talking to the media, MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui termed the Sindh Local Government (Amendment) Bill 2021 as an attack on the constitution. "We have expressed tolerance a lot. Now there is no way except protest and resistance," he added.

He said that the new bill had made the people belonging to the urban areas of Karachi more helpless. "Government employees also want to stage protest against the bill," he added.
