MQM hints at taking to roads against local govt polls in Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) - The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has hinted at taking to roads in protest against the local government elections in Sindh.

Addressing a ceremony on Wednesday, MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that they had boycotted the local government elections held after fake delimitation of the constituencies.

"The time will prove that there is no worth of the Houses from where the MQM is absent. No one can speak truth here because the truth is always censored," he added.

He said that they want Pakistan of the Quaid-e-Azam, but were forced to live in the Pakistan of Bhutto. "The feudalist democracy and the family system are the biggest enemies of democracy in Pakistan.
