MQM invites opposition to become part of democratic process

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has asked the opposition to become part of the democratic process.

Expressing his views on the floor of the National Assembly on Monday, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool said that Form 47 was termed as the identification of the MQM. "I want to tell them that our identification is 1947."

He said that the biggest crisis being faced by the country was not financial, but of intentions. "Democracy will derail if political forces will not hold dialogues," he maintained.

The opposition raised a hue and cry during the speech of Khalid Maqbool. During the session, members belonging to the SIC and the MQM scuffled with each other. They also exchanged hot words in front of the dais of the speaker.
