KARACHI (92 News) – MQM-London target killer Yousuf Thailay Wala – arrested in murder of 96 people – on Friday backtracked from his statement before court which recorded during the police investigation. During the hearing, the court asked from MQM-L target killer, “Who gave you contract for killing the people?” Yousuf Thaily Wala replied that he had never killed anyone but he just only managed the bodies of deceased on Theila. “Many murder cases registered against you. How you murdered these people?,” the judge questioned. The MQM-L target killer contradicted his statement and said that he had never murder anyone. He also alleged that Nadeem Marble and Riaz renowned as Chacha kidnapped and murdered the people and he just only managed the bodies keeping on Thaila. The accused informed that court that he disposed off the 15 to 20 bodies from 1995 to 1997. He also told that he was arrested by the Rangers in 1997 and served seven years punishment in the jail. The MQM-L target killer claimed that he had quit all the crimes after punishment and serving jail. Meanwhile, the investigation officer pleaded for physical remand of the accused but the court rejected his request and sent to him on judicial remand. The court directed investigation officer to submit challan after completing the investigation. The anti-terrorism court already ordered to send the accused to jail. Earlier, Yousuf Thailay Wala made startling revelations during the investigation. Yousaf alias Thelay Wala claims to have been in contact with former MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar. He made this and other startling revelations to the police during interrogation. Assassin alleged that he was in contact with Farooq Sattar and used to meet him at Nine Zero. “I used to kill people on the orders of the party’s leadership,” he claimed. Yousaf said he met Sattar through MQM sector incharge Khalid Siddiqui and Nadeem Marble. Sattar used to make arrangements for me to stay at Nine Zero, he further claimed. Police presented MQM-L target killer arrested before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) today. The court granted physical remand of the alleged target killer to police till November 23. According to the police, accused killer Thelay Wala started his killing spree in 1995 with murder of a man in suspicion of being a police informer. The accused was directly involved in 30 murders along with accomplices. The police said he has also confessed murders of five workers of MQM-Haqiqi and two government employees. Moreover, also killed 12 people suspecting them as police and government agencies informers. The Rangers had arrested him in year 1996 and he was released from jail in 1997.
