MQM leaders indicted in cases of party founder’s provocative speeches

KARACHI (92 News) – An anti-terrorism court indicted several MQM leaders in the cases of provocative speeches made by the party founder. The indicted leaders include Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar, Farooq Sattar, Aamer Khan, Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Muhammad Javed. However, the accused pleaded not guilty. Inspector Azad Khan recorded his statement from the prosecution. The court has summoned the witnesses on the next date of hearing. Later, the court adjourned 27 cases till February 1. On the other hand, the case pertaining to the treatment of terrorists till January 25 due to absence of Rangers DSR Anaytullah Durrani. The accused’s counsels will continue their cross-examination of the complainant’s statement.
