MQM-London activist among seven held in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – Police have on Monday apprehended at least seven accused including a Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-London) activist during raids in Karachi’s different areas on Monday. As per details, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-London) activist Anwar Ali was detained during a raid in Korangi Awami Colony area of Karachi. The accused was involved in several criminal activities including extortion. On the other hand, police carried out a raid in Boat Basson area and arrested two street criminals namely Adnan and Wahid. Weapons and looted items were also recovered from them. Meanwhile, Kharadar police nabbed a drug peddler and an illegal Afghan national, while Jackson police also rounded up two drug peddlers during raids.
