MQM London expels Farooq Sattar

LONDON (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM) has on Sunday suspended the party’s primary membership of Farooq Sattar and expelled him from the party. In a statement issued by the party’s London chapter, MQM London’s four senior leaders Mustafa Azizabadi, Qasim Ali Raza, Wasay Jalil and Muhammad Ashfaq have appealed to the party workers and public to follow and believe in Nadeem Nusrat’s every statement as he is the MQM’s elected convener. The statement further stated that Farooq Sattar’s primary membership has been suspended and has been expelled from the party several times on charges of treason. “Farooq Sattar has no authority to dictate his administrative and political decisions as he is not party’s parliamentary leader anymore” the statement added. Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan Chief Dr Farooq Sattar, had been appointed the Convener of the party's Coordination Committee. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Coordination Committee of the party here on Saturday. Kishwar Zehra, Abdul Wasim and Faisal Sabzwari were also included as members of the Coordination Committee.
