KARACHI (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has moved the Sindh High Court (SHC) to challenge the victory of the PPP in PS-127. Waseem Ahmed of the MQM, in the petition, contended that 51 polling stations were rigged in an organized manner. He appealed to the court to stop the victory notification of Ghulam Murtaza so that he could move the election tribunal. He alleged that the voters were harassed during the polling. “We have not been provided the form 14 of several polling stations.” Waseem Ahmed demanded that the PPP candidate should be disqualified. A two-member bench of the SHC will hear the case next week.
