MQM-P decides to PTI's support for federal govt on 12 conditions

KARACHI (92 News) – Mutthaida Quami Movement (MQM) Pakistan said that Rabita Committee decided support to Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) in the formation of government at federal level on 12 conditions. It was decided after a meeting between the party leaders and PTI leader Jehangir Tareen held at MQM-Pakistan headquarters in Karachi. The MQM-P also hinted to support for the PTI but on the base of conditions, however, they presented 12 conditions for supporting the PTI. Speaking to the journalistws, MQM-Pakistan Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui assured that the Rabita Committee will support the PTI for making government in the federal and sit opposition benches in the Sindh Assembly. Khalid Maqbool said that PTI chief Imran Khan cannot bring change if he will compromise. He also mentioned that mandate given by people to political parties should be honoured and hoped that PTI leader will address the reservations of political parties. On the occasion, MQM-P senior leader Farooq Sattar said that all the matters will be resolved with the consultations and mutual understanding. PTI leader Jehangir Tareen said that MQM-Pakistan has been requested to be a part of federal government. He said that major issues of Karachi like drinking water and other problems will be solved on priority basis.
