MQM-P delegation meets PM Imran Khan, demands reopening of party offices

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday.

The MQM-P leadership demanded reopening of their party offices. It also demanded to re-conduct census across the country.

The prime minister assured the delegation of accepting their demands. He directed Planning Minister Asad Umar to look into the matter.

He said that the promises made with the allies would be fulfilled. He ordered Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed to resolve the matter of missing persons and closed offices.

PM Imran Khan ordered Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood to complete Hyderabad University at the earliest. He said that the federal government would continue to play its role for the progress of Karachi.

On the other hand, MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that his party had fulfilled all the promises in the Senate elections and now it was government's turn to fulfill the promises.
