KARACHI (92 News) – MQM-P leader Farooq Sattar has demanded intra-party election, saying that a single person has harmed him. Addressing a press conference on Friday, he announced to resign from the Rabita Committee. He said that he was forcibly got defeated in the elections. “The Feb 5 set-up has to be restored if you want to restore the dignity of the MQM-P. Feb 5 was the line of divide and now it will be the line of join,” he maintained. Expressing reservations about the present MQM-P leadership, he said that the party winning 17 seats from Karachi has been restricted to four seats. He said that the objective of his return was to save the party from disintegration. Farooq Sattar urged the people to succeed the MQM-P candidates in the by-elections.
