MQM resignation issue: I won’t play active role of negotiator anymore, Fazlur Rehman tells PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The dialogue process between Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the government reached a deadlock after Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman refused to further play its active role of negotiator. Sources said that the JUI-F chief refused to mediate between the government and the MQM and he has informed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in this regard. The JUI-F chief said that what was the need of a mediator, when the rivals do not want to resolve the issue. It is pertinent here to mention that Moulana Fazlur Rehman will be traveling to Saudi Arabia today to perform Hajj.
