KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement sacked senior party member and close aide of Altaf Hussain, Mohammad Anwar, from the coordination committee. The decision of sacking Muhammad Anwar was taken on Sunday in a meeting chaired by the committee’s Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat due to his illness, which often caused him to remain absent from meeting. Meanwhile, Muhammad Anwar said that he has been sacked for discipline violations. Sources said that Muhammad Anwar could not satisfy party leadership over his statement to Scotland Yard in money laundering case. On the other hand, MQM chief Altaf Hussain has authenticated the committee’s decision.
