KARACHI (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday submitted a resolution against the formation of Kemari District in the Sindh Assembly. The resolution demanded the Sindh government immediately withdraw the decision to establish the district. It said that Karachi is being punished for not voting for the PPP. The resolution stated that the Sindh government is dividing Karachi on the basis of racial and language. Talking to the media, Sindh Government Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said that the creation of the Kemari District is the demand of people. "There is need to work jointly," he added. He said that the Sindh government is criticized whenever it rains despite all the chief minister and the ministers are in the field. "The prime minister does not take notice when rainwater inundates hospitals and residential areas in Lahore," he maintained. Murtaza Wahab said that PM Imran Khan had promised to form one Pakistan, not one. "The PTI government has proved that two Pakistan, not one, exist – one for mafias and other for the poor," he added. He called for resolving political matters politically.
