MQM’s Izharuddin loses Karachi West District chairmanship in vote recount

KARACHI (92 News) – The MQM lost the West District chairman seat as 24 marked votes were rejected in the vote recount on Thursday. Muttahida candidate Izharuddin Ahmed lost the seat. According to unofficial results, Asif Khan of the Karachi Ittehad won the seat by scoring 31 votes. Izharuddin got only 12 votes.
