Muharram moon sighted across country, Ashura on Oct 1

KARACHI (92 News) – The moon of Muharram-ul-Haram has been sighted and the Ashura will fall on October 1 (Sunday). Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman presided over a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Central Committee and announced the sighting of the moon on Thursday. All Ulema prayed for country’s solidarity and peace in the country with the start of the new Islamic year 1439AH.
