Multan-Karachi match abandoned due to rain, both teams share one point each

LAHORE (92 News) – The match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings was abandoned due to continuous rain at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday. Invited to bat, Multan Sultans scored 102 runs for the loss of six wickets in 16.5 overs. Shahid Afridi was the main contributor with 35 runs off 17 balls with the help of three sixes and one four. MM Ali made 29 runs off 22 balls. Aamer Yamin and Iftikhar Ahmed took two wickets each, while Muhammad Amir and Umer Khan got one wicket each. The match was cancelled as the single innings could not be completed due to the rain.
