Multan RPO visits woman who was subjected to police torture in Vehari

VEHARI (92 News) - An elderly woman, who was subjected to police torture, received a senior police officer at home on late Saturday to get assurance of justice at doorstep. Zahooran Bibi, a resident of Luddan, was attacked by three policemen. After the Punjab chief minister took notice of the incident, Regional Police Officer Multan Waseem Ahmad Sial reached the woman's home, inquired after her and assured her to provide justice. Speaking on the occasion, the police officer said a case had been registered against three policemen who were also booked in a case.
