DUBAI (92 News) – Peshawar Zalmi beat Multan Sultan by seven wickets in the first fixture of the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) fourth edition at Dubai International Cricket Stadium On Thursday. Peshawar Zalmi chased the target of 173 run in 19.2 overs. K Pollard scored 52 at 27 balls as not-out and Umer Amin scored 54 at 37 balls as not-out helped Peshawar Zalmi to chase the big target set by Multan Sultans. However, Imamul Haq and Fletcher provided a strong start to Zalmi after opener Kamran Akmal's departure on duck. Peshawar lost only three wickets including Imamul Haq 39, ADS Fletcher 24, while Kamran Akmal 0. Half-centuries by Kieron Pollard and Umar Amin took Peshawar Zalmi home in a comfortable 172 run-chase. Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Ilyas and Muhammad Irfan took one wicket each in the match.
