PESHAWAR (92 News) – The police have traced the mystery of a 25-year-old Parvinder Singh’s murder in Peshawar as his fiancé Prem Kumari was involved in the killing. It is pertinent to mention here that in the case, India tried to portray as religiously motivated ‘target killing’ to take the global spotlight off its own systematic discrimination of religious minorities. A young man from the Sikh community, identified as 25-year-old Parvinder Singh from the remote Shangla district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, was found dead in Peshawar on Sunday. At the time, the media erroneously identified him as Parvender, saying he was in Peshawar for shopping. Police have arrested Prem Kumari and the hired four paid murderer. The car which was used in the activity, murder weapon and money have been recovered as well. Prem Kumari was produced before the court afterwards. According to the investigation team, the suspect, Prem Kumari, paid Rs0.7 million to a hired assassin to murder Parvinder Singh as she did not want to marry him. Prem Kumari called her fiancé to Mardan with the help of a female friend. The victim was then abducted and taken to a colony in Mardan. Parvinder Singh was shot in the head and his dead body was moved to Peshawar due to fear of being traced.
