Murder of Qawal Amjad Sabri draws countrywide condemnation

KARACHI (92 News) – The murder of renowned Qawal Amjad Sabri has been widely condemned across the country. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the killing of Amjad Sabri. He directed the authorities concerned to bring the culprits to justice. He lauded the services of Amjad Sabri and expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family. President Mamnoon Hussain, Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Balochistan CM Sanaullah Zehri, former president Asif Ali Zardari, Bakhtawar Bhutto, PTI chairman Imran Khan, PSP chairman Mustafa Kamal and MQM convener Farooq Sattar have also strongly condemned the brutal killing. Meanwhile, Qawals, singers and showbiz personalities have expressed deep sorrow over the death of Amjad Sabri Qawal. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan said that Amjad Sabri had highlighted Pakistan across the world. “I am in deep sorrow over his death,” he said. Tamraiz Mian said that Amjad Sabri was his best friend. Qawal Mehr Ali and Sher Ali also express deep sorrow over his death.
