MURREE (92 News) – The trapped people, who got stuck after a fault in chair lift due to a typhoon in Muree, were rescued after an eight-hour-long operation. It is pertinent to mention here that over 70 tourists were trapped when a cable car stopped midway in Patriata, Murree. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the one tower was completely restored in an operation carried out with the help of the army and work on other is underway.  However, the chair lifts were completely restored, while cable car would be restored after the repair works. The elevated chairlifts met with a malfunction resulting in hundreds of getting stuck in the air precariously.
