Murree girl burning case: Two prime suspects surrender

MURREE (92 News) – Two prime suspects who allegedly set able a female teacher in Murree over marriage dispute have surrendered to police on Friday. Two prime suspects namely Shaukat and Mian Arshad have surrendered to the police. The suspects are being interrogated in police custody and an important development in the case is expected today. Previously, five people set a 21-year-old girl ablaze over a marriage row in Upper Deval area. The accused nurtured a grudge against the girl as her family had refused their proposal. On the day of the incident, they forcibly entered her house, set her ablaze and threw her into a ditch. The girl has been shifted to a hospital in Islamabad in a critical condition. A case has been registered against two accused. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
