Murree, Naran & Neelum Valley receive snowfall

MURREE (92 News) – The northern areas, including Nathia Gali, Ayubia, Neelum Valley, Leepa, Shogran and Naran, received snowfall on Saturday. Meanwhile, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Rawalakot and Islamabad continued to receive rain with intervals. The Karakoram Highway and several roads were closed due to heavy rains in Shangla, causing problems for the people. According to the Met Office, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. For Sunday, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while cold weather is also expected in Quetta, Kalat, Malakand divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
