Murree wears a deserted look after ban on entry of tourists

MURREE (92 News) – Murree gave a deserted look after a ban on the entry of tourists in the Queen of Mountains.

All hotels and flats have been vacated. The work on removing snow and clearing roads is continuing in the city and adjoining areas.

The power and water supplies are still suspended in several areas. The internet service has also been badly affected by the heavy snowfall. The heavy traffic heading towards Murree has been blocked

Meanwhile, the district administration has distributed 9,500 bags of dry ration among the trapped tourists. Over 650 blankets have been distributed among the tourists. The officers have so far rescued over 4,000 vehicles.

The district administration has provided petrol to 30 vehicles of the trapped tourists. Over 2,100 tourists have been rescued through the shuttle service.
