ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has also proposed to severe diplomatic relations with India in protest against revocation of special status for Occupied Kashmir. Expressing his views during the joint session of parliament on Wednesday, he advised the government to consult the opposition instead of declaring it a ‘traitor’. “Only the phones of the opposition members are recorded. It seems RAW is active in Islamabad,” he said. He also proposed to activate foreign affairs committees of the National Assembly and Senate. The senator said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should phone US President Donald Trump to know about his strategy in the wake of the current situation. He said that banners of ‘Akhand Bharat’ were displayed in the federal capital for 10 hours. “Now each peace process has been linked to the Kashmir process,” he said. Mushahid Hussain Syed said that Pakistan should declare diplomatic emergency for 100 days.
