Mustafa Kamal demands to put name of Waseem Akhtar on ECL

KARACHI (92 News) – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal on Wednesday demanded to put name of Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar on exit control list (ECL). Talking to the journalists, Mustafa Kamal alleged Waseem Akhtar for the worsening state of the metropolis and said that his name should be placed on ECL. He also complained about the grubby situation of Karachi following the monsoon rains and occasion of Eidul Azha. Referring the report in which mentioned 2500 children sick with gastro and diarrhea were brought to the Jinnah hospital yesterday, Mustafa Kamal said, “Waseem Akhtar’s name should be put on the ECL, whatever he has done, he should not be spared.” The PSP chairman also stressed that good arrangements can be made even in the current resources. He added that the responsibility of cleanliness lies on the Mayor. The former Mayor also blamed the Karachi mayor for embezzling funds allocated for Karachi’s municipal problems. He lamented that animals’ offal from Eidul Azha is still piled up in the city and there is no one to take the responsibility of it. He requested Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to resolve issues of Karachi on an emergency basis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3ooKDLG5Js Responding to the allegations of Mustafa Kamal, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar said that the money he gets will use to give salaries and pensions. He also said that in this situation Mustafa like people try to take political benefit. “All major projects are kept by the Sindh government, unless the sewerage system will not be fine till the roads cannot be constructed well.
