My all properties are declared and legal, says Aleema Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Aleema Khan, sister of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has said that her all properties are declared and legal. Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court on Monday, she said that fun of her sewing machines was made. “I have been working for the last 20 years. I purchased these properties through my earning and assets of my husband. The volume of our annual exports is over Rs two billion,” she said. She was of the view several women in Pakistan are earning their livelihood through sewing machines. She said that she had declared her property in the United States. Aleema Khan said that the impression of linking her properties to Shaukat Khanum donation is baseless. “I reject the allegation,” she added. To a question that she is being termed as ‘benamidar’ of Imran Khan, she said that she had given the statement in this regard. “I got the share from my parents, not Imran Khan,” she claimed. To yet another question about the foreign property, she said that all things are on the record and anyone could check them. “You can check the wealth statement. I purchased all property through business,” she said. Aleema Khan said that she had made the investment of Rs 30.009234 million and purchased the property after getting the loan from the Bank of Dubai. “I sent the money for purchasing the property through the banking channels,” she disclosed. She said that she had made the investment of Rs 14.5 million to purchase the property in New Jersey. “I also utilized the loan received from a US bank,” she said. Aleema Khan said that a group is trying to link the donation to her properties. “Shaukat Khanum Hospital is a charity organization established in the name of my mother,” she said.
