My struggle is to get Imran Khan punished, says Maryam Nawaz

- PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that her struggle is to get PTI chairman Imran Khan punished.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, she said that the country will make progress if 'Fitna' is thrown out of politics. "Imran Khan secretly held meetings in the President House and sought the NRO for him. He started misbehaving in public meetings when he was refused the NRO," she maintained.

The PML-N vice-president said that it was also an NRO to declare Imran Khan as 'Sadiq' and 'Amin' despite forgery at Bani Gala. "It was also an NRO to get Farah Gogi escaped in the dark," she added.

She clarified that the PML-N had not received any NRO. "I have been acquitted in the NAB reference under the old law. The way for Nawaz Sharif has been cleared. There is need to file an application in the court only," she stated.
