My team amongst the first to enforce smart lockdowns in the country: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his team was amongst the first to enforce smart lockdowns in the country. https://twitter.com/ImranKhanPTI/status/1277094528990752769?s=20 In a tweet today, he said that he is proud of his team for helping him continue to navigate the country through the Covid19 crisis. He expressed hope that if InshaAllah, from now onwards if we follow SOPs we will see off the worst of this crisis. Prime Minister also shared an article titled "Smart Lockdowns are the future in Europe" published at Bloomberg.com. The article says that European Union countries Germany, Portugal and Italy have all enforced selective or "smart" lockdowns, shutting down smaller regions in response to new outbreaks as opposed to bringing their entire countries to a halt. This approach is the only hope of returning to a more normal life as we wait for a vaccine.
