NA-122: ECP grants PTI access to vote transfer record

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Rejecting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) petition of declaring NA-122 by-elections null and void, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Monday gave PTI access to the record of alleged transfer of votes from the constituency.

Announcing the reserved verdict in NA-122 alleged transfer of votes from the constituency, the Election Commission said that the ECP has not the authority to declare the elections null and void, adding that the petitioner Aleem Khan should contact ECP.

The ECP gave the access to Aleem Khan to check the details of voters list but dismissed the plea in which Aleem Khan demanded to declare the NA-122 election null and void.

PTI leader Shoaib Siddiqui said that they were not satisfied with the verdict and will approach the Supreme Court.
