NA-122: NA speaker issued notice in rigging case

LAHORE (92 News) – An election tribunal has issued notice to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for February 21 in the rigging case. Anees Hashmi, counsel for PTI chairman Imran Khan, contended in an application that large-scale anomalies have been detected during the checking of the record in NA-122. The voters’ thumb impressions should be verified from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to thrash out the facts, he demanded. After a brief proceeding, the tribunal issued notice to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. The tribunal adjourned the final arguments till decision on the application.
