NA-246 by-election: All polling stations declared sensitive, Rangers in-charge of security

KARACHI (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday devised the security plan for NA-246 by-election with the Rangers as the main agency responsible for the security on election day. As per reports, all polling stations of the constituency have been declared sensitive, while police and army officials have been alerted for deployment at various polling stations. Meanwhile, the ECP has begged off use of biometric system for the by-election.
