NA-246 by-election: PML-N announces support for JI

KARACHI (92 News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) announced to favour Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in NA-246 by-election on Sunday. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the JI are contesting for the NA-246 seat  which was left vacant in February after MQM MNA Nabeel Gabol resigned from the party and hence as the MNA. The constituency is considered a stronghold of the MQM. The election will be held on April 23.
