ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Assembly adopted a resolution condemning PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto for uttering ‘insulting’ words against Speaker Asad Qaisar on Saturday. The resolution was moved by Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari. "Such a personalised attack on the speaker, the Custodian of the House, is an attack on the House and totally unacceptable," the resolution read. "We demand an apology on the floor of the House." Bilawal, in a press conference after the budget bill was passed by the National Assembly, had accused the speaker of ‘running the House in a partisan manner’. He had gone on to call the speaker a ‘worker (naukar) of the government’ and criticised him for not issuing the production orders for MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir who are currently under detention.
