ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Assembly meets in Islamabad this afternoon at four. The House will take up legislative business besides important issues for discussion. Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khurshid Shah moved ‘Tehreek-e-Istehqaq’ against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif in National Assembly, which is expected to give a tough time to the government. Khurshid Shah moved the motion against the prime minister and declared his statement in the parliament as ‘non-serious’. The privileged motion was signed by PPP leaders including Syed Naveed Qamar and Shazia Marri. On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan announced to go to the Parliament today, ending the boycott. Talking to media in Islamabad yesterday, the PTI chief said that he would participate in the Parliamentary session tomorrow and would bring resolutions against the prime minister. “Nawaz Sharif lied before the Assembly regarding Panama Leaks issue. The prime minister said that the documents of money trial are present but their lawyer denied having any documents,” he said. Prime minister wants to surmount the Supreme Court, he said. “I’m not going for attendance. We are going to Parliament to get the answer from the prime minister. Prime minister is the custodian of public money but now the entire nation would know that prime minister is caught in corruption. It is the job of the opposition to hold the government accountable if it breaks the rules,” he further said.
