NA Speaker Asad Qaisar rejects resignations of Murtaza Abbasi and Sajjad Awan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar on Thursday rejected the resignations of two PML-N MNAs, terming them fake.

A few days ago, the National Assembly Secretariat had received the resignations of Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Muhammad Sajjad Awan. They were summoned to confirm the resignations.

On December 30, they appeared before the National Assembly Secretary and refused to confirm their resignations.

PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb had clarified that the resignations were sent to Ameer Muqam, not to the Speaker.
