NA Speaker Asad Qaisar seeks Shehbaz Sharif's help for legislation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar has written a letter to Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, seeking help for legislation.

In the letter, Asad Qaisar said that the government and the opposition should move ahead over all reforms with consensus.

"The joint committee formed for legislation of different bills should be utilized. The opposition leader should play his role in this regard," he maintained.

He said that several bills were passed by the Senate, but could not be passed by the Senate. "Different bills have been discussed in the joint meeting. The committee formed by the opposition and the government could not complete consultation.

The Speaker said that he would play his role to evolve consensus between the government and the opposition.
