NA Speaker Raja Pervez accepts resignations of 43 more PTI MNAs

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf accepted the resignations of 43 more members of the PTI.

The resignations were sent by the National Assembly to the Election Commission for approval a few days ago. Now only the estranged members who were elected on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf ticket are left in the House. 

About 40 percent of the seats in the National Assembly are vacant. The National Assembly speaker had accepted the resignations of 35 members of the PTI on January 20.

Resignations of two members were not accepted due to request for leave. After the approval of 43 resignations, a total of 122 resignations of the PTI and one resignation of Sheikh Rasheed have been accepted.
